The food is very good. After initial difficulties we had a humorous and competent waiter and everything went well. We had a good time there.

The service is attentive and friendly. But the food has deteriorated a lot. Heaven and aden ordered. Was on the table in 5 minutes. Surely it had been warmed up in the microwave. It tasted like that too. About a year and a half ago, everything was still fresh. Bolten draft beer, of course delicious.

Right on the church square you can enjoy German home-style cooking with a bit of international flavor in the modernized and converted "Anker". The prices are high and the quality of the dishes varies greatly. E.g. the schnitzels are boring and the portion rather moderate, the pork knuckle, on the other hand, is very good (picture); in any case, it's very crispy and the beer sauce tastes good. Note: Original I get sauerkraut, but I prefer red cabbage. However, there is far too little sauce in this dish and many others. The wait staff are friendly, the seating is okay, the overall ambience is nothing special. The table distance in Corona time (1.5 meters) is not taken into account here.

Nicely renovated and restored building. Well done combination of the building with a kind of winter garden integrated unit. Big beer garden. Friendly staff. Food well portioned and very tasty. Mainly hearty German cuisine. Price / performance ratio fits. All in all further recommendable.

We had a really nice evening. The food was fantastic and of excellent quality. The service was super friendly, cheerful and personable, we felt very comfortable. The ambience is also very nice, large outside area and large glass fronts inside. Definitely a recommendation!

Nice ambience. For a modern brewery, the food is BAD and too expensive. Condition doesn't listen and the management is very unfriendly! Complaints will not be accepted! Overcharging! It's a shame and never again!
